1. Purpose / उद्देश्य

e-Maalkhana ("the System") is the digital Case Property Management System of Jammu & Kashmir Police. Authorised officers use it to register, label, track, audit and dispose of seized and case property held in police maalkhanas, in line with the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and departmental standing orders.

ई-मालखाना जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस की डिजिटल केस प्रॉपर्टी प्रबंधन प्रणाली है। अधिकृत अधिकारी इसका उपयोग पुलिस मालखानों में रखी जब्त एवं केस प्रॉपर्टी को दर्ज करने, लेबल करने, ट्रैक करने, ऑडिट करने और विधिवत निस्तारण के लिए करते हैं।

2. Owning department / स्वामी विभाग

The System is owned and operated by Jammu & Kashmir Police. Access and day-to-day use are decided by the competent police authority at Police Headquarters, zone, range, district or police station level.

यह प्रणाली जम्मू कश्मीर पुलिस के स्वामित्व और संचालन में है। पहुँच और दैनिक उपयोग पुलिस मुख्यालय, ज़ोन, रेंज, जिला या थाना स्तर के सक्षम अधिकारी तय करते हैं।

3. What the System covers / प्रणाली में क्या शामिल है

Registration of seized and case property with FIR and register references
Unique QR labels for every item and storage location
Chain-of-custody records for every movement (court, forensic laboratory, return)
Safety flags for arms, explosives, narcotics and hazardous material
Station, district and headquarters oversight dashboards with audit logs
Interface in English, Hindi, Urdu, Kashmiri and Dogri

4. Not a public portal / सार्वजनिक पोर्टल नहीं

e-Maalkhana is an internal official system. It is not for public requests about release of property, case status or documents. Members of the public should approach the concerned police station or court.

ई-मालखाना आंतरिक आधिकारिक प्रणाली है। प्रॉपर्टी की वापसी, केस की स्थिति या दस्तावेज़ों के लिए नागरिक संबंधित थाने या न्यायालय से संपर्क करें।
